The drone gets all the attention, which makes sense, since it’s the part flying around. But that machine is only half the operation. The other half sits on the ground in a single rig, and it’s the half that does most of the work you don’t see: holding the water filtration, the pumps, the cleaning solutions, and the line that feeds the drone. It’s also the half that determines how much of a hassle the job is for you, which turns out to be very little.
When we arrive, everything anchors to one rig, which is a van, a trailer, or a truck depending on the property. Rather than scattering gear across your site, the whole operation runs from that one vehicle, which keeps the footprint small and the work area tidy. The drone pulls what it needs through a hose running up from the rig, so it never has to land to refill and the cleaning runs without constant interruptions.
The most important thing the rig does is handle the water. We connect hoses from the rig directly to your building’s water source, and then we purify that water on-site before any of it reaches the drone. The system runs it through several stages to pull out the dissolved minerals and particles that ordinary water carries, filtering sediment first, then passing the water through reverse osmosis and a deionization stage that polishes it down to purified water with almost nothing left in it. That’s what dries clean on glass and metal with no hand-drying, and it’s the reason the windows come out spot-free. Purifying the water on-site, in real time, means we produce clean water continuously as we clean rather than rationing a limited supply through the day.
The rig carries more than the water system, though. It holds all of the cleaning solutions we use, each with its own tanks and nozzles so we can control exactly which solution goes where and at what strength. That matters because different surfaces and different problems, algae on stucco, film on glass, grime on concrete, call for different solutions applied in measured amounts rather than one mix used everywhere. The rig also carries the equipment we need to clean lower-level areas by hand when a section calls for it, so the parts of the building within reach from the ground get the same attention as the glass up high.
Put together, the ground side is built to stay out of your way. One rig, a managed work area, no sprawling staging, and nothing bolted down and left behind. The setup on your end is minimal, mainly access to a water source for us to tie into, and when the job is done the vehicle packs up and leaves. The only thing different about your property is that it’s clean.
